The Public Service are rallying the next generation of folk-rock from the five corners of Punamukwatijk / Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Their live show serves up an amusing goulash of singer-songwriter-folk-funk, infused with an East Coast sing-along-able sound. Songs For The Living (2022) is a collection of musical love letters addressed to people and places left behind, not always by choice. Songs For The Living hit no. 1 on CFBX in Kamloops as well as CFUV in Victoria. The “core” Public Service features George Woodhouse, Joss MacNeil, Andrew MacCormack, Jan Lapierre and Justin Huston.
