Slowcoaster has been a fixture on the East Coast rock scene since 1999. Songwriter Steven MacDougal, bassist Mike LeLievre and drummer Jordan Bruleigh craft incredibly danceable, hook-laden reggae-ska-folk-jazz-pop-influenced rock songs that have built a hard-core fan base. They have done it the old-school way, playing hundreds of shows each year and constantly releasing new music. A regular at Stanfest, they are releasing a new recording called Apples and Oranges this year, so we will get to help them launch this project.
